There are many things that connect people the world over. Food is one of them. We all have to eat. And, everyone has the right to access affordable, nutritious, good food.
That food must be organic to be good for all of us and for our planet. That is food grown without any agrichemicals, pesticides, insecticides or any of the other 1,800 permitted poisons. These chemicals are neurologically and physically toxic. They destroy our precious soil and its nutrients and our health.
Here Penny Lange from Ballinroan farm talks about how we need to bring change. “We have to rediscover in very many ways how we can actually live on locally produced food”.
The organic farmer selling directly to the customer encourages truly sustainable food chains, people power and connection. Which do you support? We have the choice.
